NASA Goddard's Eclipse Web Site publishes the Five Millennium Catalog of Solar and Lunar Eclipses by Fred Espenak and Jean Meeus — the instant, type, Saros series, magnitude and geometry of every eclipse from 2000 BCE to 3000 CE. CONNECTED: the twenty-first-century tables are fetched and every eclipse of 2001–2100 is served at /events/eclipses.

Connected end-to-end since 2026-08-29. A published canon, not a live feed: it was computed once, in 2007, and nothing about it is ever labelled live. Its instants are Terrestrial Dynamical Time and are converted to UTC using the catalogue's own ΔT, which is itself a prediction for future dates. These are the circumstances of GREATEST eclipse only — what an eclipse looks like from a particular place needs the Besselian elements, published separately and not read here.
