AsteriaStar Platform

Engineering and data

The engineering and data side of AsteriaStar. Articles under this name describe what the platform does, how its data gets there, and what its limits are — new datasets, connected live providers, measured accuracy, and the things that turned out to be harder or less reliable than expected.

These pieces are written to the same standard as the platform itself: figures come from the systems that produce them, uncertainties are stated as measured rather than as hoped, and a capability that does not exist is described as not existing.

Covers: scientific data pipelines · provenance modelling · live provider integration
